CEO & Executive Director - Ronald Y.S. Leong
Before Deakin International, Ronald has spent 15 years of his professional career in the financial services industry. His experiences in the financial planning, association's activities, fund management, and the agency management have provided him a unique opportunity to understand the Malaysian financial industry. To Ronald, financial industry is a highly numbered industry; nevertheless, it is also a people-based industry. Naturally, he grew a passion in psychology, and started to appreciate the important role of Financial Psychology and Behavioral Finance in the financial industry. Hence, Ronald assigned Deakin with one ultimate role - to provide solution-based products and services that used the element of Financial Psychology and Behavioral Finance. Under his leadership, Deakin has contributed significantly to the professionalism, quality and growth of the industry by blending psychology and financial knowledge together.
Ronald is still an active member in the industry. He is greatly involved with the association activities, particularly on the Financial Planning Association Malaysia (FPAM).
